- RESCUE ME, HE’S WEARING A MOOSE HAT:
And 40 Other Dates After 50 – Details in a very humorous way what I learned over a ten year period of speed dating. Tolerance and compromise is a must, but fun and sex are also important. What can you learn from a date who shows up being 72 when he said he was 52? Why do men lie about their hair, teeth, occupation, sexual ability and amount of times they were married? Why do they complain about the cost of Viagra? How do you even find a date! These and many more intriguing questions are answered.
- CHASING AND CATCHING DREAMS
After my husband died (I was only 50 years old), I made a conscious decision to live. Not only to wake up every day and go through the motions, but to set goals and achieve them – for myself and as an example for my children. My ten goals varied from snorkeling in Belize to seeing my name in lights on B’way. To date, I’ve accomplished nine of my ten goals. Along the way, I became a breast cancer survivor and had heart surgery. I didn’t let these blips get in my way. I pushed on with humor, determination and spunk while discovering the power each of us has. My life is wonderful. I have a published book on the market and life is great. It didn’t just happen – I MADE it happen with determination, an adventurous attitude, a smile on my face and lots of chutzpah. You can too!
